Getting your product on board Resirk's deposit system for Norway
 A guide from Norsk Resirk ASThe deposit symbol makes it work Norway has a highly effective nationwide deposit and recycling system for one-way beverage packaging. Norsk Resirk administers this system. One-way beverage packaging offered for sale in Norway carries both a basic fee and an environmental fee.* The environmental fee is lowered as the rate of return of packaging increases, and eliminated when the return rate reaches 95 percent. |

The deposit symbol tells the consumer and store employees that a deposit has been paid on the packaging. Cans and bottles up to 0.5 litres fetch NOK 1 in deposit, larger bottles and cans NOK 2.50.
